I'm forwarding this to the list because folks might want to be aware of the newsgroup ECOCITY, a discussion of sustainable urban development, and also of the Yestermorrow people. Other news: Blue Heron actually broke ground yesterday! By this afternoon we'll have two footings dug and poured. We plan to roll the houses in on Monday! Truly a Thankful time! We emphasize using "sustainable" methods to create ecologically "smart" buildings. As an educational institution we are always seeking to incorporate new technologies into the curriculum and expand our data base. "Ecotechnology"and sustainable development are areas of interest to us as some of our projects will indicate: Eco-renovation of 50,00 sq' abandoned building as a component to the World's fair in Hannover, Germany and the development of a Co-housing community including on-site biological waste treatment. We support your "Ecotech" initiative and would like to learn more about it. Please send materials to: Yestermorrow Attn: Steve Parcell P.O. Box 454 Warren, VT 05674 Thank you and good luck, Steve
