In responce to Harry's question. I have been designing homes in California with an MA Arch degree from Berkeley but no licsence for fifteen years. Most recently I designed Marsh Commons co-housing in Arcata for which I hired a liscenced architect to supervise working drawings and sign them. The law allows non liscenced designers to produce working drawings for single family or duplex homes of two stories or less. Joyce Plath @ aol.com
