<<Maybe coho is a way of recruiting good neighbours, or at least people who
are predisposed to being neighbourly.>>

I'll use Russell's above quote as a segue (how DO you spell that anyway?)
into the following announcement:

Jewell Hill Cohousing in Sonoma County, CA is currently recruiting community
members (or neighbors). Although we are not yet "landed" we are optimistic
about being so soon. Meanwhile, we've been doing some hot community
building! This is the time to get in, in my opinion, so you can feel really
a part of what's happening.

We are 13 committed households with several more on the fringes. We plan to
build 25-30 homes in this paradise. Haven't seen Sonoma County? Let me tell
you about it.
We are on the coast with incredible bluffs and beaches. Middle of premium
wine country with over 200 wineries within an hour's drive. Weather that
can't be beat - it's in the 80's today and crisp and clear. The Harvest is
on full force and everything grows here from apples to zuccini. I eat from
my garden year-round. This is food and wine at it's best!! Gorgeous parks
all around for hiking, camping, etc. And San Francisco is an hour's drive
away. (I never go there anymore tho, cuz it's so wonderful here!)

Our group is families and singles ranging from 6 mos. to 60-something. Most
are professionals with skills and commitment that really make things work!
We also have lots of fun together - like the camping trip we took last
weekend.

So, if you'd like more details, send me an email at MartyR707 [at] aol.com

Now is the time to get in, cuz when we have land, we will fill up FAST!
