This is a message of peace, solidarity and gratitude to everyone who's 
involved with this list.  I am off to SE Asia for a year of traveling, 
learning, exploring and writing about community, humanity and nomadics.  
("My, what big themes you have!" said Little Red Reading Hood to the 
Wicked Writer.  "The better to bewilder you with," replied W.W.)
 
Before I go, I would like you to know how much I appreciate this 
little forum called Cohousing-l.  I will miss your enlightened 
discussions of matters both large and small.  What I have learned on this 
list has confirmed and deepened my commitment to finding, creating and 
encouraging Community, while I'm abroad, and certainly when I return.

In case I can do anything useful for you while I'm over there, I 
have set up a voice mail box for messages.  (206) 654-4415.  I will be in 
Thailand (Mae Sot, Bangkok, islands off the Southern coasts); North 
Vietnam (Hanoi, Haiphong, Ha Long Bay); Indonesia (Bali, Lombok, Komodo, 
Flores); Cambodia; Burma; and India (Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bodhgaya, 
Dharamsala, Delhi).
