I think that is a great idea.  I just live down the road from MelaSilva, 
but come on by!  We have lately had a few visitors sent to us from Los 
Angeles EcoVIllage.  It's been fun.
One thing we really wish, though, is that we had a community guest room 
in the common house.  Visitors generally have to stay on the couch of 
whichever individual community member they contact.  If there was a lot 
of traffic, it could start to be a hardship
hardship if they all had to be houseguests of the "official" contact 
person, especially since our houses are quite small.  I'd be interested in 
hearing about ideas for dealing with this.
