Message text written by Diane Simpson >I shall take up where I left off when cohousing-list went down, which was asking Thomas to explain what is a "non-invasive community."< Hmm, I suppose it's a community which is not invasive. However, that leaves the question "what is invasive?" Would the word "intrusive" be more or less clear? Surely community affects its members, so any community could be considered invasive. Also, these aren't quantum states, but rather tints of grey. An incomplete list of factors in an unreasonably intrusive (to me) community: - You must work in the community factory. - You must believe the community religion. - You must own nothing but community property. Since I don't know where you're going with this, it's hard to respond. Thos
