As Joani Blank Said.,
<As someone else has said here, people's situations change pretty rapidly,
and their interest in moving to your community, or their ability to do so
may have changed by the time a unit becomes available. Also, the house
that becomes available may be too big or too small, too expensive or too
inexpensive (sure!) for them. However, it is in the best interest of anyone
selling a unit in your community to get in touch with everyone on that
list>

Like many others, Monterey Coh has struggled with ideas for waiting list. We
just couldn't come up with something we thought would work.
Instead, we have set up an email announcement-only list, that people can sign
up for. We send out a monthly announcement of events, and when an opening
comes up, it is sent out to the list. Someone just told me the other day that
she had seen the announcement, and it got her thinking again.

And it doesn't take a lot of effort on our part. People who come to our
information sessions can ask to be added , or they can sign up from our web
site.
