Hello, Diane Simpson wrote: >Which alternative journals do you recommend? Do you use any >national ones? Since you asked, i thought i'd put in a plug for Communities magazine. It's the only national publication besides Cohousing that is specifically oriented toward people interested in community living. I consistently see ads from cohousing communities there. If you've never seen Communities (or haven't taken a look in a long time), i strongly recommend checking it out . . . i admit i'm biased since i serve on the board of the organization that publishes it, but i really do think it offers a lot of great advice that is just as relevant to cohousing groups as to anyone else doing cooperative living in some form. You can get to the website from the main intentional communities website at www.ic.org, or order a sample copy by calling Fellowship for Intentional Community at 800-462-8240.
