We would like to announce the upcoming availability of power point 
presentations / slide shows on the following topics.  These shows are 
packed with artfully arranged images from cohousing communities across 
the country, as well as informational text and design tips.  They are 
suitable for viewing by individuals or small groups around a lap top, or 
projection to a larger group.  Parts 1 and 2 will be available within a 
few weeks, the others will follow shortly.

Part 1:  What is Cohousing?
   This presentation is designed to help you market the idea of 
cohousing to perspective new members.  It shows the people side of 
cohousing and what it is like to live in community.

Part 2:  Cohousing Site Design
    This presentation includes a walk through all the important site 
design features (from parking to quiet meditative spots), as well as a 
tour of a dozen or so built communities.

Part 3:  Common House Design
    This slide show takes you room by room through a common house, 
illustrated with solutions to all the issues from cohousing communities 
across the country.  It is packed with information about great rooms and 
kitchens, as well as laundries and mail rooms.

Part 4:  Cohousing Unit Design
    This presentation looks first at the exterior massing of units and 
how they are connected or not to each other and the greater community. 
 Then it moves into the private home.  It looks at important issues such 
as wheelchair accessibility, open floor plans, and natural lighting.

Part 5:  Affordability, Sustainable Design, and Product Selection:
    This slide show will help you balance your many goals when it comes 
to actually picking products with which to build your community.
