Where there is a lot of diversity, many of the other people around one hold 
many different values.  It is a challenge to be able to accept all of those 
values.  

Up until less than 500 years ago, most human beings spent their lives among 
others who shared many of the same values, beliefs and characteristics.  From 
this perspective, diversity is a relatively new thing.  

Is diversity always good?
