If you do go for a commercial washer, at least have one regular washer in the kitchen for times when the dishes pile up in small amounts. Not all meals will include all households and many will be birthday cakes or popcorn. For these you need a small washer that anyone can handle. Otherwise the dishes will pile up for the next extravaganza and only some members will be willing to operate the monster.
That said, we do have several members who really enjoy revving up the elephant in the corner. They also enjoy moving all the furniture out of the great room when they mop the floor -- folding all the tables, dismantling some, carrying the soft furniture outside -- stuff like that. (As opposed to just moving the furniture to the side and moving it back again.)
If you are worried about your backs, put the washers up on a base of 12 inches or so.
