We were recently notified that the Village in the City Cohousing logo has
been awarded a Bronze Quill  Award of Honorable Mention from the St. Louis
Chapter of the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) in
the category of logo design. This annual competition honors "business
communicators who produce classic works of great communication--works that
get results, and that stand the test of time."

The competition is not strictly a beauty-contest. Rather, it recognizes
EFFECTIVE communication; pieces that meet or exceed their objectives. Every
nomination is accompanied with a lengthy write-up which describes the goals
of the piece and the results.

The design firm that produced our logo, pro-bono, is Paradowski Design in
St. Louis Missouri. Joy Marcus was the designer. To see our winning logo go
to our web site at http://www.villageinthecity.org
