Hello All, We are about to carry out value engineering in our development process. In value engineering one takes a list of items we thought would be in our design and either cut out a number of them or let the price of our units go up. It generally happens because even in the best-planned budgets costs generally come in higher than anticipated once all the contracts have been bid. Having defined value engineering, I'm interested in insights from those who have gone through it. What process did you use to carry it out? Did it work for you? Would you do it the same or differently this time, and if differently how? You can reply either to me or the list. Thank you for your thoughts and experiences!
