aware that there is a Walnut Creek Cohousing.  I think she the Walnut
Creek she means is in the East San Franciso (California) bay area.

As someone seeking shared housing, what could I anticipate as the cost of
a small rental unit, such as a studio with kitchen privileges within
Walnut Creek Cohousing or in the general vicinity of Walnut Creek? Also, I
could perform some service to assist the elderly, the handicapped,
children in need of care, and the household in general. 

My main reason for choosing Walnut Creek, is to be near an environmentally
desirable area that is walkable and near effective public transportation
as well. 

I am a semi-retired teacher of special education, all ages, and regular
education elementary with a current interest in education for peace,
personal growth, and health.
