Open MS Word for windows, ver 2000 or later
Type in your info you want (Best to be brief and include contact info)
On the file menu, click Save as Web page.

Find a file posting service that will host sites (search the web for
nonprofit web hosting), email them and they will send you an FTP address.
(for example www.nonprofitpages.com)
Search the web for a free FTP software, such as FTP explorer

Upload your file to the site address given to you by the host site.

Repeat as needed.

Seeking opinions and recommendations on the simplest way to create a website
for a forming cohousing group.

No members of the group I am working with have come forward as web gurus.
I have created and can handled yahoo groups, and want to be able to maintain
the site myself, but have never created one.

Any opinions welcome.  ( Professionals and consultants may backchannel me if
promoting businesses violates the rules or spirit of this list.)
