I don't know that I've ever seen pre-painted HardiePlank, but pre-primed is readily available. I'm working on replacing the crappy pressboard siding on my house with Hardieplank and I plan on painting it first, but I'm waiting for the weather to cool off a bit here in Texas. I expect it to collect minor dings and scrapes during installation, but touch up should be easier than trying to paint my entire two story house. I suggest that if you are going to be doing the work yourselves that you may want to consider doing the way I am. If you're going to hire somebody, I suggest not confusing them by asking for something that they've never done before. -- Matt -- >From my heart and from my hand, why don't people understand my intention? _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L
