Has anyone found an answer for making redwood decks non slippery in the rainy season? In the past we have put a three foot carpet runner down the walkways but it is expensive and doesn't last more than a season or two. Last year we tried rubber matting and that was very unsatisfactory. There is a nursery in our area that covered the deck paths with chicken wire and it really works but it isn't very attractive and canes can get caught in it.
Thanks for input. Harriet Lewis, Santa Rosa Creek Commons.
