Cohousing-L Mailing List: problems with dogs?

Hi all:

We are working on a pet policy, and people can easily come up with all these 
what-if scenarios with dogs biting children and the like. I was wondering if 
any cohousing communities have actually had a problem with a dog biting a 
person. If so, what were the circumstances and could any rules have prevented 
it?
