Here at Heartwood we used Tectum too and have high ceilings and lots of windows. The results are fantastic. We also have a cork floor that helps with the scraping of chairs sounds. Matt Worswick has the plans if you are interested. We are very happy with the acoustics throughout our common house and have a nice very open kitchen.
