Over the years of reading messages on the list I have seen one type 
appear again and again.  It usually starts off. "How do you....?" or 
"What do you do when...?".   And almost always there are plenty of 
informative responses to the question.  Six months goes by and the same 
basic question is asked again. 

Another trend, although I could be wrong about this one, is that in 
beginning cohousing groups most of the energy goes into structures and 
the "how do we live together" guidelines comes latter.  I do not want to 
initiate a debate about the pros and cons of when the "how do we live 
together" guidelines are best developed, what I want to do is to keep 
people from having to reinvent the wheel.

As far as I know there have been two attempts to put information into an 
easily researched file or book and neither has worked out.  At least I 
dont know of anyplace that I can go and type in "Pet Policy" and only 
see the pet policies that different communities have worked out.

So if you are willing to share, send me a copy of your CC&R's.  They 
don't have to be broken out or anything special just send the folder, 
manual, handout or file to me and if I get enough info I will publish it 
in some to be decided format.  Digital is OK too.  If you want 
reimbursement for the postage I will do that.  Please drop a note in the 
envelope telling me it is ok to publish any material you send me.

Let's help those just getting started in what is not an easy process.
