I had the same impressions as Laura. I was one of two hosts at New View (Acton, MA). The guests asked good questions (they must have been prepped well on the bus ride out, and they had sheets with the basic info about New View, so we didn't have to go over the basics). We were able to show them 2 houses & the common house, although it was over too quickly. Better than the alternative though...

where we just passed our annual condo budget - whew! The steering committee & finance committee still have to figure out whether a tractor replacement can come out of our condo reserves before we have the final numbers for the 2005 condo fees. And we've had some good parties recently. Even a surprise parade, for a neighbor's 45th birthday.

In answer to Bob's question - I thought the Massachusetts Cohousing Bus Tour
went very well, and the responses I have received from attendees has been
very good.

Attendees left enthusiastic about the communties they saw, and the lifestyle
offered by living in cohousing.

The bus was on time, the schedule exact (if a little rushed), the community
hosts were delightful and enthusiastic, the weather nice -
In short, I hope we can fill another bus in the Spring!

I haven't heard anything about this either on or off the list, and I'm
curious. Did things go well?
