Oh Karen,  please don't go away.  Even though I stand with Patty to the 
core, and wish that my own community was much more "activist." I truly 
treasure the diversity of opinions that are expressed on this listserve, 
and I'm really disappointed to hear that you--or anyone--would leave the 
virtual community of this listserve because someone expresses an opinion 
that may seem to put all or most cohousers in one political place or another.

If you have unsubscribed already, please come back and tell us all about 
your differences with Patty, and how you felt reading her post.  This list 
has been remarkably free of flaming for many years now, and I'm quite sure 
that folks will "listen" to what you have to say, and respond courteously 
whether or not they agree with you.
