I will be watching the discussion re this very closely as I am on the verge of 
starting a CoHousing ' aging-in-place ' community on the Mongollon Rim ( 
Showlow, Lakeside, Pinetop) in Northeastern Arizona. This development will be 
close to Navapache Regional Medical Center.

This effort on my part is not altogether altruistic as I live in Phoenix, AZ 
and have long desired to have a cabin on the Mongollon Rim north of Payson, AZ. 
My age & health cry out for such a community.
 
Incognito, I have viewed Manzanita Village in Prescott several times and am 
very impressed with the way they have used their 12.5 acres.
 
I look to building ~20 semidetached homes, each of ~ 1000---1,200 square feet, 
having 2 bedrooms and 1.5 to 2 bathrooms.
 
I addition to the community dining-hall, recreational facilities, etc.the 
Community House would have sleeping quarters for visitors/guests/home health 
aides &, further, would have exam rooms/offices for doctors/nurse 
practitioners, etc. to conduct their business when necessary.
