Hi. I'm a member of Fresno (CA) Cohousing, which is currently under
construction will be ready for the first occupants in June. I January, our
group decided to install PV solar on all 28 units, plus the common house.
We'd been planning to install it, eventually, and the units were designed to be solar-ready. We were putting off the off the decision due to cost, but our construction project manager, builder, and solar contractor negotiated to make us an offer too good to refuse. So we're solar across the board from move-in! Hooray.
(By the way, we still have units available. Our beautiful McCamant & Durrett complex is within sight of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Temperatures are expected to hit mid-70's this week. Check out

Hi, I'm Karen, at Bellingham Cohousing, WA. Our sustainability committee is looking into what other cohousing communities have done/are planning to do with solar power. If you wouldn't mind replying to me off list with a quick reply, I'd really appreciate it. Our crocuses are bloomed, tulips are on the rise, the sun is even in full bloom today! All around good spirits abound as people are gardening and socializing outdoors.Karen
