Hi Zev,

Your question is not necessarily ahead of the curve, unfortunately.
We've had one foreclosure in Sunward and we have several people who
are on the edge as indicated by their significant debt to association
fees here at Great Oak.

I think there are several things that help. One is to talk about it.
Get the discussion about personal money going - it's a tough one for a
lot of people to share with others. Two is to get imaginative about
coming up with solutions to issues. Three is to keep positive and work
to sustain the relationship - that's one of the strongest aspects of
cohousing is our relationship with each other. Solutions to financial
situations need to be fiscally sound but they don't have to be by the
book!
