At Liberty Village we have not come up with as broad a plan, however we have purchased and received training in use of a defibrillator. We have a large bell and an air horn which are intended to alert people, though we haven't had to use either much - the bell is more for calling folks to community dinners and such, while the airhorn is for emergencies.

Cheers

Fellow Cohousers,

Trillium Hollow Cohousing in Portland, OR has formed an Emergency Response
Task Team to address these kinds of disasters:

.1. Natural (weather - snow, extreme heat, earthquake etc)

2. Mechanical (burst pipes, failed boiler, structural failure of the
building

3. Medical (something requiring a medical provider, ambulance etc )

4. Human Error (fire, flood, explosion, crime)

Has any community developed resources and a response plan?
