Hi Everyone,

Meet Kathryn McCamant, a nationally recognized architect and co-author  
of Cohousing: A Contemporary Approach to Housing Ourselves.  She will  
discuss her 25 years of experience designing and building award- 
winning, sustainable communities throughout the United States.
You will hear how people have organized to create over 100 such  
neighborhoods all across the country.  By combining the privacy of  
individual homes with extensive community facilities, cohousing  
communities provide an easily accessible social network of support,  
and making living more sustainably easy.

Katie will be focusing on cohousing for pro-active adults who are  
creating communities that will allow them to live longer  
independently.  You will also be able to meet members of Wolf Creek  
Lodge which is now under construction in Grass Valley.  It is the 4th  
senior (active-adult) cohousing community in the United States, and  
will be ready for move-in in 2012.
