A free data visualization tool would be another way to present this
information. It is more interactive and can be embedded in website --
http://public.tableau.com. I'm not sure it is available in this free
version but in paid version (and it is very expensive) there is an
automated slideshow feature that would be great to show growth in cohousing
year by year. You could build a dashboard that shows the map and the
metrics table all together. Having more descriptive information (i.e.,
senior, ag, urban, size) about the communities would make this even better.
I actually scraped your directory a while back and was going to do this
because I thought it would be cool but never got a chance.
