Hi Tiffany,
As someone looking for cohousing (but not in Oregon), I second Ann's
suggestion... including what your vision is as a starting point is a great
idea. In my quest for cohousing I have noticed a few things that seem to
stand out to me in regards to vision. One that strikes me as  particularly
interesting is how many people that I meet interested in cohousing are
looking for below market rate housing  and see cohousing as a possible way
to get there. Knowing this right up front is helpful.
