Mary,
This came my way and I am forwarding it to Cohousing-L, the online
discussion of all things cohousing ( http://cohousing.org/cohousing-L )
There recently have been a couple threads about cohousing within condos,

Nature of Inquiry Website Issue or Suggestion
Message I am interested in co-housing. After looking at many of the
choices available relocating and buying a home is very expensive.

Currently I am the president of one of 68 condo associations within
King's Point in Delray Beach Florida. Many units are for sale as the
original residents from 35 years ago are gone. This has many *one and
two bedroom units for between $20,000 and $80,000*. There are
gyms, pools, tennis, golf, saunas, and buses to local shopping. The ho
fees are around $300.00 a month. With all that infra-structure I think
there would be an excellent place to begin a community. *Please pass
this suggestion around*.
