Eris Weaver is a highly rated facilitator and lives in FrogSong (Right?). She
has also written a nice little book on discussing financial issues. "Let’s Talk
About Money."

We are on the wrong side of the country to work with her.

Retirement communities have various schemes for dealing with this. The Kendall
life care communities, originally Quaker, have a policy of not excluding
residents who are no longer able to afford living there. They have various ways
of coping. I would contact one of them. The literature on life care communities
may also have this information.

Of course, with their population, they are talking about a period of time that
is almost guaranteed to be only a few years at best. And in the first place,
they are much more careful about ensuring as best they can that a person can
afford to live there.

Please keep writing about how this proceeds. This is a problem for any group of
people with common financial investments, particularly real estate which is a
deteriorating asset. Either you maintain and improve it to keep up with
industry standards, or you lose it.
