For some years, RoseWind has had no resales available. We now have a fine house for sale, of particular interest to people with children. Port Townsend is a liberal enclave on the Olympic Peninsula, with the human advantages of a small town, and the amenities of a college town or city, with abundant cultural offerings. A great place, too, for raising young children! RoseWind, with 24 households, is long-built, more than 25 years in, and has a core of interesting, hard-working members who pitch in to keep costs low. Our common facilities include a pingpong table and foosball, and an outdoor climber and swing set, as well as open fields for kids to roam. There are many kid-friendly activities in town, all just minutes away. The house is $420K, a fair market rate for here, and is both practical and unique. Practical, in that it has 3 BR upstairs as well as another potential BR on the ground floor (could also be office, guest room, or Air bnb) and a huge third-floor open space for home office, or play. Unique, with a spiral staircase in a fairy-tale tower, wonderful custom woodwork, arches, and radiantly-heated oak floors. Please email me off list to express your interest and/or to learn more about the house and RoseWind. This will probably sell quickly, and we would love to see it go to a family.
