Berkeley Moshav is a forming cohousing community in Berkeley. On the last
two Sundays in April, we are hosting a two-day workshop -- open to anyone
interested in cohousing development -- on finding a site and developing it
into cohousing. Among the topics we will cover:

   - Development roles and responsibilities
   - Development process/timeline
   - Designing cohousing (in and urban setting)
   - Finance, investments, and budgets
   - Site search and acquisition

This is a fairly general workshop, not site specific (since we don't yet
have a site); one focus will be creating cohousing in expensive urban
markets. Led by cohousing experts Katie McCamant and Chuck Durrett, this
workshop shares best practices gleaned from their 25 years' experience creating
cohousing. *Everyone is welcome*. Cost is $450 for the first adult from a
household and $150 for the second. Food and childcare are available. We
will also try to make video recordings available to registrants who cannot
attend the entire workshop.

See you soon!
