Over the past 20 years, a number of (everybody built their own) houses have been resold. In almost every case, the place sold for a price comparable to a similar house in the area, not in cohousing. One could argue that the common amenities— common house, orchards, garden, swing set, open space, human community— increase the value substantially, but that has not been reflected in actual sales, whether by owner/our own marketing, or by a realtor.
