We bought one electric Briza one which we are about to trial (like a giant
bar-heater)
Some community members wanted to mitigate the fossil fuel impact of propane
so this was the compromise
Covid and lockdown were brutal in the winter and some of our teenagers had
mental health struggles which being able to socialize would have made easier
We are in Northern Vermont, so we have a long cold winter
A community member has also just bought one of these Biolite Firepit
<bioliteenergy.com/products/firepit-plus?variant=33326751940707&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign={campaign_name}https://www.&utm_content=474241686667&gclid=Cj0KCQjw1PSDBhDbARIsAPeTqreOtGLnK2BXhZRaPD6lxFh5D_DKURnzi-KlA1AOxv6bfEQoWyQ-hI4aAh7gEALw_wcB>
which
we're looking forward to trialing
City ordinances forbid outdoor fires except for grilling, so we will keep a
bag of marshmallows permanently on hand... :)
