About 5 years ago we placed $35,000 from our maintenance reserve account into a 
Parnassus fund,  It has now grown to about $67,000.  We did this fully aware of 
the risks of stock investments, so the initial investment represented less than 
20% of our reserve.  I fully agree with Jim Parson’s assessment of Parnassus.  
When we decided to do it, it was with the full support of two of our members 
who are attorneys.
