Thanks Alan. Are all of us allowed to put our cohousing related projects on
here ? A fabulous concert, “Musical Journeys 4” is  being zoomed from Halton
Mill, the event space next door to (and owned by) Lancaster Cohousing, on Sat 8
jan, from 730 pm U.K. time (2 Pm New York, 10 am California )..With Boom Bike
Bourree (“mediaeval hip hop” and joyous French dances , played on
accordion, hurdy gurdy, clarinet, trombone and beatbox), local melodeon genius
Ben Farmer, and - live from Berlin - Syrian contemporary dancer Medhat Aldoubl
with percussionist Ali Hassan.
The event is in aid of live performance and also is collecting for two local
charities - one supporting refugees and the other supporting young people with
mental health struggles. This is the fourth in the ‘musical journeys’ series -
the last 3 online concerts raised more than £7000 split between  the performers
and the charities.
I first met Medhat when he was dancing about the refugee experience at a
Klezmer festival in Germany a few years ago … he now teaches Dabke, traditional
Syrian dance, in Berlin, as well as developing a contemporary dance career with
various companies.
Tickets £10/£2.50 , free for refugees, £25 for supporters (to allow us to offer
free places)…. From www.tinyurl.com/musicaljourneys4
Please get your tickets now, and join us on zoom on Saturday 8th! Love Fiona

Cohousers ...This is not one of my cohousing movies but my latest documentary
Beyond Heart Mountain aired on Wyoming PBS last night and is now available to
be streamed ...

The documentary is based on my memoir of the same title that does have a
cohousing as a central takeaway as a means a more civil society.

Thx and tell 100 of your closest friends!
