Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about EV charging stations. We included a bunch of extra electrical capacity from the beginning, and now we're figuring out where exactly to locate the future chargers so we can run conduit and other details. We don't have a lot of in-house expertise (certainly not me) and I was having a hard time finding resources for planning. Our architect found this excellent document in the AIA continuing education library -- EV charging stations for architects by ChargePoint, one of the industry leaders in charging stations. It's got info on codes and regulations, electrical considerations and load calculation, site selection, permitting, foundations, safety and protection, LEED credits ... everything you would ever need to know. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19_TpseZZ8gjSYZvV088niM7NxumIox6b/view?usp=sharing I think everyone should be able to access this Google Drive link, but PM me if you can't and I'll email it to you.
