dear cohousing communities: I live at Cascadia Commons in Portland, been here for 21 years. I am curious how community life is in other communities across the US. I see us struggling at Cascadia in many aspects of communal life, stuck in Zoomlandia. How are you holding meetings? If you are holding in person meetings or are going to soon, how is the decision made? did it need a community wide consensus decision, or do you have a committee that handles such matters? How are you gathering for social events? Are you having meals together? How is life different in comparison with pre covid? Is life still mainly happening virtually? what do you foresee changing in the near future? Have you made changes during the pandemic that might stay so permanently? Grateful for any input.
