Hi Kathleen,
I live at Wasatch Commons in Salt Lake City. I have contact with my
neighbors every day. I take a walk with a neighbor or go swimming. I
sometimes have coffee or lunch with a neighbor. Maybe I'll garden with
a neighbor. Or at least once a day, I just stand in the path and chat
with a neighbor. I'm often on the path greeting the children as they
come home. I think any community can be a "high contact" community if
you take the initiative and invite your neighbors to do things. We
have potluck meals twice a week and a "cafe" on Saturday mornings.
Another example is a group of people at Wasatch Commons who carpool to
our neighborhood gym to do water aerobics each morning.

There’s not available housing here at the moment. We participate in
the Annual Cohousing Open House each spring. Check out FB Page.
