Here at Monterey Cohousing in Minnesota we bought two commercial-style freezers (they keep the temp at -10 degrees), one was used by households who paid for their share of the cost based on cubic inches. That has been quite successful and popular. The other is for community foods for meals, but it got loaded up with things that weren't getting used, partly because of COVID, but also because we weren't using things up, a bunch got freezer burned. Now while some space is still for community foods, some shelves will soon be owned by households. A bit o' food humor: Why did the person get a job at the bakery? Because they needed the dough.
