I dont trust those stats.

One can find and cite statistics to "prove" whatever one wants.

According to

The annual inflation rate in the US was 7.1% and going down.

Interest rates have been rising and alarm expressed but interest rates
have been very low for several years due to FED action. They are now
closer to historical averages.
