Shopping Malls & Office Buildings [was Do you know of cohousing that has evolved in existing neighborhoods?

The way things are going they may be available for conversion again.

There is much more information available now about converting offices and 
shopping malls to residential housing. Whenever I see pictures of Windsong’s 
covered walkway, I think how wonderful a mall would be. Lots of space for play 
areas, live-work spaces, workshops, etc. Some resources could have openings to 
the outside of the building and be open to the public while keeping the 
interior space limited to residents and guests.
