Hi Cohousers,

I'm on the board of The Sum, a nonprofit in Charlottesville, and I've
recently been trained on their model called the Power of Difference. The
model identifies three primary (and one secondary) Power Perspectives--ways
we engage with and evaluate differences across race, gender, sexuality,
religion, class, disability, and culture. This assessment is very helpful
in seeing your personal strengths and learning edges when it comes to
diversity without blame and shame. If you're interested in learning more

The Sum is offering the scientifically validated assessment for free to 20
people so my classmates and I can practice consulting. You'll complete the
assessment, which takes about 20 minutes, and then spend an hour with us
going over the 4-5 page report.

The assessment and consultation is normally $150 for individuals, and there
are group packages so you can see where the whole community lands. If
you're interested in taking it for free, send me an email and I'll get you
started. This offer is only for a few weeks but after that I'll be able to
do consultations at any time with you or your community on a sliding scale.
