Interesting question David - As someone who has used the Myers Briggs for many 
years, and paid attention to many other instruments, I think what’s important 
to remember is that the information one learns provides an explanation, but not 
an excuse.  It’s the beginning and not the end of one’s search for 
self-knowledge. :)
