Rebecca,
Our initial core group had a discussion about aspects that were important
to us, then the process team (one of our committees) looked at *lots* of
other cohousing sites and pulled together a host of statements that
resonated based on the group's earlier discussion. We melded the important
aspects of the group with some of the statements from other communities and
brought that back to the full group. After some further wordsmithing we
reached consensus.

A key factor is identifying what might be unique for your community. There
are so many well-crafted statements on many communities' sites to draw
from, we didn't feel like we needed to start completely from scratch. Our
vision and values are pretty tightly intertwined.

Our Vision and Core Values are at: https://acorn.rrock.com/about-us/

All the best in your process!
