At Heartwood Cohousing, we require prospective members complete a Prospective 
Member Checklist and Membership Questionnaire. Their purpose is to help 
prospective members determine whether they think cohousing would be a good fit 
for them and vice versa.

In my experience, the most important criterion for a prospective member is 
emotional maturity.
