Hi Muriel: yes, $750 gets you membership in the cohousing association. I copied from the website what that membership gets you: Welcome to our newly revamped and reimagined program – CohoUS Membership! Formerly known as Partnerships, our Membership Program better reflects the dynamic and enriching experience we offer. CohoUS exists to support the movement for a more connected future, a movement of which you are a critical component. In 2024, enjoy an array of enhanced benefits that will support your community journey, including an exclusive $100 discount for the 2024 National Cohousing Conference. As a member*, you can connect with other communitarians and professionals at free events, further your education with discounted courses and access a variety of resources including workshop recordings, templates and consultation. All 2024 CohoUS Memberships Include: - Free access to all online events - $100 off 2024 National Cohousing Conference in Denver, CO - 25% off trainings and coaching through The Cohousing Institute - 200+ recorded event sessions, sorted by event or topic - Highlighted Directory listing (available only to our members) - Support for the cohousing movement, CohoUS, and the many public services we offer We have tailored our memberships to support all of our valued community members, including individual seekers, forming and existing communities and cohousing professionals. We call these payments "dues" but I think they're more a donation. Is there a standard amount that an established cohousing community should consider giving? (That might or might not cause us to increase our donation, but I said I would ask.) Muriel @ Shadowlake Village
