Good for you for thinking ahead! IMO if I was installing a charging station in 
my garage, I’d want to be able to choose the type of charger. You might want to 
set some guidelines (e.g. the charging station must be UL listed) and/or 
recommend a few particular brands/models, or maybe the interested parties can 
get together and do that research as a group.
