Our now annual MLK Day moment at Noon is in a common area. We gather for only
about 10 minutes, at Noon) in our common area and at our community's BLM sign
(which serves as a welcoming beacon to all who pass and come into our area.

We play the rivetingly powerful introduction and vocal rendition of Lift Every
Voice and Sing by the Stanford Talisman alumni virtual choir ::

We understand that many today are volunteering (online and in person) in honor
of Dr. King and this day (the only Fed. holiday designated as a day of
service), so it's kept short and sweet. And folks always show up for this
moment together--even in the cold.

This year is combined with our BLM sign ceremony, which is held whenever repair
or replacement of our community's BLM sign is needed. Thanks to the many
neighbors who have created this together over these past years.

P.S.
We always add that this song (and it's history) is listed with countless fun,
intriguing, challenging, inspiring and heartfelt diversity guidance links on

“Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.
You don’t have to have a college degree to serve.
You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.
You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.
